The Call Sheet started from a pretty simple feeling: I know what it’s like to want to create, want to meet people, want to get in the room — and not know where to begin.

Why I Started The Call Sheet

I didn’t want creative opportunities to feel hidden behind who you know, how long you’ve been around, or whether someone happened to invite you. The goal was, and still is, to make opportunities more accessible for photographers, models, stylists, artists, assistants, and anyone trying to build something.

1. Share what you find:
   If you hear about a casting, open studio, test shoot, assistant role, or creative call, pass it along. Access grows when people stop gatekeeping.

2. Show up prepared:
   Opportunity is only the door. Bring your mood board, your questions, your clean communication, and your willingness to learn.

3. Be kind in the room:
   How you treat people matters just as much as the final image. Creative spaces should feel exciting, not intimidating.

What I Hope It Becomes

My favorite part is seeing new faces join, connect, and try things they may not have known were available to them. Every shared opportunity is a small reminder that we can build a more open creative community together.

For anyone waiting to feel ready: start where you are. Respond to the call. Send the message. Ask the question. You do not need to have everything figured out to take the next step.
